I picked this guy up at shop. I asked the owner about the spots and he said it's normal. I would just like a second opinion..

Yup looks like lympho. It should go by itself provided good water food etc.

Usually won’t spread. It’s a virus that’s very likely in many tanks and it seems to infect fish that have been stressed or have compromised immunity.
