I was looking to at changing my powerhead setup. I was thinking two nero 3 heads. I saw this as a setup a single nero 3 and an orbit 2 together. Would that be overkill for a 30gallon cube mixed reef tank.

What do you think would be appropriate for the tank?

Can always reduce flow but can’t go higher than max.

Are the corals under to little flow at the moment? They just need to be waving around like a tree in a breeze
They have pretty good flow right now. One powerhead is about 500gph the other is about 350gph. I just wanted to switch to something programmable

Ah ok I see your point. Well if you want there are lots of nano dc wavemakers out there, I don't think you would need 2.
