Ok so I saw a cool way to grow chaeto in the back chamber of my 29g biocube.

That's what someone else did but I dont know what light I found one that is the right dimensions but I'm not sure if it's the right spectrums.

Those are the light spectrums and this is the link to the product on amazon if you want to look.

The spectrum of the light should be good as its mostly red. Intensity is the question - will it be enough?
States 25W, but how accurate is that?
Doubt heat will be a problem. There's a lot of LEDs on that board, each being driven by very low amps, & they all have a little heat sink on the the back helping cool each LED, & that's where any heat will be radiated.

Well I can always do a spacer of heat becomes a problem the question is more would those light spectrums grow chaeto well

Currently my chaeto does not grow but it's under a orbit marine which is pretty much blue and white. If I could put the chaeto in the back like that then I can use the refugium as a second little tank.

Yeah both the kessil and ai prime would be go to but it wouldn't work the way I want it in the back sadly. Thanks for the help though
I think your idea will work fine. Chaeto is pretty easy to grow, and a plant light will be close to the correct spectrum.

I grew chaeto in the DT on my biocube 29, had I seen this I would have tried it to clear up space.
