Would this look dumb

So after having two tanks shipped broken i think im going a different route. It was the jbj rl 45because i want an all in one and dont want a sump this time around. I also want something relatively shallow and square. Would it look dumb or function incorrectly if i bought a deep blue 24x24x12 and put an overflow box in it but do not drill the tank. I can put the auto top off in there, and also the pump that would feed one of those hang on the back refigiums. That way it would also surface skim..thoughts? And really dont want sump again. Fiance doesnt like tanks so im going for less set up the better.

Why not a AIO tank? Or you could buy the deep blue and but a piece of 1/4 acrylic (black with black silicone) and place it 4'' from the back glass to make your own AIO.

who cares if it looks dumb. IMO if your happy with it and looks good on your end. the less you do the better for you, But just think of it long term and what you are gonna be wanting to keep in there. Just a heads up. sounds alright. but you never know till you set it up.

+1 I get my wife interested any way I can. She wasn't happy about going to peoples houses 24/7 but now its just normal lol.

bad thing to it is, When i run out of money i run her out of money lol. so im in debt with her and my self LOL! witch sucks. you try oweing your girlfriend/wife $4,000 grand. yes thats right. that type of money lol. addicted is correct.

I like all in ones. I bought the rl45 which i still do like, but i cant tell if i want a shallow more. Hate this hobby! Ive been through 24 gallon nano cube, 54 column, 10 gallon, 50 gallon breeder, and now i have a 12nanocube because i didnt want to have to worry about moving the 50.
