Hello,
I have been into reefing since 2010 and I just converted over to my 4th Salt Water Aquarium. This aquarium is a Zeovit aquarium and in getting it up and running I have discovered that there is very little user support or user discussion for this type of reefing. While there is a Zeovit dedicated website and forum, I have found that it is not very interactive. So, I would like to poll members of Reef2Reef to gauge your interest in starting a Zeovit forum on this site. While I am not that experienced with Zeovit, I am happy to help keep the forum going. I would love to see this become the go to place for Zeovit user experiences and interaction. I could see this forum offering the following to anyone interested in Zeovit and I am sure there are many more benefits we could bring to Zeovit users...

  1. A place to exchange experiences with other Zeovit Users. Ask Questions. Share Discoveries, Ideas...etc.
  2. Featured Zeovit Tanks with pictures and details about the user's Zeovit regimen.
  3. A place to post Zeovit tank journals.
  4. Sticky Threads with user inputs on specific aspects of running a Zeovit tank.
  5. Poll Zeovit users on specific aspects of running a Zeovit tank....etc.

So, if you have any interest in Zeovit, please indicate with your Yes/No vote if you would find a Zeovit forum fun and interesting. Please also feel free to add comments to this thread! Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, Alexander is helpful but like you said, he can't always be available. And really there should be a community of people helping each other and that is what I was looking for. Sadly, that doesn't seem to really exist at Zeovit.com, even though you would think that would be the place for it.

I am curious about your comments on Zeovit being "dangerous." Could you say more about this? And then what is "Zeolight?" Thanks!

Maybe an advanced reef methods forum. The vast majority of of hobbyists are happy just keeping their tank alive and looking half way good.
Zeovit, Aquaforest and Zeolight systems are for hobbyists that want to take their tank to the next level. So perhaps a forum for Advance Reef Methods would work.

I am still interested if we could get some more support for this idea!

Maybe start a new thread with the new idea?

Sure. Sharing experiences is always good.

I've read a lot about zeo and want to try some. The more info the better is the way I see it.
