Would you put this tank upstairs?

Thanks for all the replies. I'll have to check the joist when I get home. But i definitely feel better considering it.

Perpendicular is definitely the best. That spreads my 72 inch over 5+ joists.

totally fine, unless you have 2x4 floor joists, which I doubt.

I have a 105 in my bedroom on the third floor, weights about 1100lbs in total and it’s put opposite to my floor joists. Also the middle of the tank is right above a wall on the floor below and the wall behind it is the main wall of the house that goes straight to the basement. I was super nervous for the first few months and still get nervous if I think about it too much but it’s been over a year and still holding. It depends on what your house layout is. Better to have too much support then not enough

This is the basement underneath my tank and also where I wild like to put the new tank. It's basically above the door jamb, perpendicular. The other picture is the joists that the tank runs perpendicular with also. I just can't tell if that wall is load bearing. Guess I'll read more.
