Would you reccomend adding a yellow eye kole tang to a 60 gal cube that has a tomini tang already established in the tank? Hes still small though. Tomini that is. Just curious. It wont be soon. Only once I get rid of my fox face once it gets bigger.

I would risk adding to a tank with another tang usually...... but when it comes to cubes, they really aren't very practical for tangs at all. What's a 90g cube usually? about 25x25 ? I think they are going to be stressed

My tank is 2'x2'x2'. I chose the tomini tang because they stick to the rocks more then open swimming. But I saw kole tangs get the same size as the tomini. I dont have my heart set on it or anything it was just a thought.

I wouldn't do it for two reasons:
  1. The tank is too small -- especially for two.
  2. The tomini and the kole have a similar face shape. Tangs with similar body/face styles are much more likely to have territory issues unless you add them at the same time.

Definitely not. Even a Tomini is pushing it long term in a tank less than 4 feet in length.

Yeah. I've also heard tomini tangs are especially mean to new tank mates. That's why hes prolly gonna be the last fish added in. Hes small now. Bout the same size as my full grown occilaris clowns. No agression from him towards anything. Dont want to have a constant aggressive tank.
