Would you consider that fully supported? If not, do you think cutting a piece of plywood to size would be enough additional support?

What size is thetank.
Model number of table, or load rating

Tank is an aqueon 75 gallon supposedly 48x18 base (just measured the base is 48 1/2…glass is 48).. Table is a Home Depot Husky heavy duty work bench 48x20 rated for 1,500 lbs. Strength of the table should be fine it’s just the overlap I’m worried about.

I wouldn’t. My sleep is worth more than dealing with purchasing a different “stand”. I also play things a bit safer than others when it comes to support.

Let a little overhang on each side or extend one of the sides just nail in a strip of wood like an inch wide

While I would. I would suggest an 18" X 48" piece of plywood cut and placed on top to fully support the tank and offer piece of mind

Thanks. I will give it some thought and either buy a new bench or go with a piece of plywood...leaning towards the plywood as I already have a sheet to use!

Plywood and then 1/8 plastic sheet to help keep saltwater off plywood.
