WOUND TREATMENT

[EASTERN INDIGO]

I think this is a bite wound less than 12 hours old. Center about the size of a .22 hole, maybe 2mm deep. Can see meat. looks infected around. Best treatment? About 6 yrs old. Want to hit it FAST.

Thank you, but I'm 77 and
utube illiterate, except for watching. Only camera I have is this crappy phone. The picture I posted is the absolute best quality I can get unless I take the fish out and photograph it dry. Is it possible for you or anybody to tell me what medication is probaby the best?

Often this will heal on its own but looks to be infected and best treatment will be Seachem Neoplex in a separate treatment tank with added aeration via air stone

Videos work. You tube is more universal but photo posted is sufficient to make assessment

Its appearance and how fast it showed up point towards an injury. However, if the peritoneum was perforated, the prognosis isn’t good, even with antibiotics.
