I got this the other day from a friend. He got it years ago and does not remember what it is. Can anyone Tell what this coral is?

Looks like a mushroom. My other guess would be a very small/dense frogspawn.

Hard to tell, and not to taker his wrong way but no much growth on a coral that’s been in a system for years, unless it’s a frag from the MC

It's for sure not a mushroom. And not a frog spawn. It's a type of encrusting coral if that help. I forgot to put That

This looks like either pink chalice or pink ******* chalice

Try a picture with more whites. I would guess a chalice also. Your friend could have just had the wrong environment for it. Make sure you have good stable Alk, Ca, Mg for it.
