It's clearly not sand. It's a colored plastic basket used to separate livestock when there isn't room in the tank.lol the sand in the background of the first pic

Seriously, some of the Hadonni anemones that are for sale look stressed and mouth wide open on the site.
They need to be rescued and treated properly? There are a few threads on this site that talk about how to rescue these nems. If folks are looking for a Nem I recommend that they read those threads and have medical attention ready before you start.
It’s not a sure thing and a lot of work to rehabilitate travel weary anemones.

You're probably right. I've read that these divers/collectors are getting pretty educated (thanks to the internet) on the money these corals can bring and are getting better at advocating for more for themselves.
