Has anyone done this?
I plan on doing this with my 40B frag tank and want to see if anyone has done it?
I'm thinking something more modern, don't want to fork over all the money for acrylic which is what I had originally thought, but something along that, not regular wood....
Also thinking of incorporating stained glass in the front of it so you can see inside, gotta show off the guts a little

Is this a custom steel tube stand or a stock stand with the thinner pieces. I have seen people put magnets in the panels to skin their metal tube stands and that is all that holds it on. Or if its the thinner iron pieces then you could make a one piece, three sided wrap around (front and sides) and put clips on the inside. If you needed to move it you would just pull the whole piece off. These were both things I have seen people do in the past that worked.

Not sure what a rod iron stand is. Do you mean a wrought-iron stand?

Maybe a photo of the stand you want to wrap?

Agree with Paul. If it's iron-based metal, my initial thought would be to attach magnets, with an adhesive back, to the wrapping material and attach the material to the stand. Will look good and is easily removed. Magnet strips can't be very expensive at a hobby or craft store.
