QT question. I’ve had a melanurus Wrass for 3 weeks. Did an initial safety stop dip and he’s looking great, eating, swimming, hiding in the sand at night, no spots… been seeing the new BRS videos on QT. I’m thinking he’s good to go without anything else. Especially since wrasses are sensitive to copper. Any thoughts?

My suggesting if you feel the need to medicate in quarantine- I recommend using Ruby Rally Pro which covers a whole array of issues and safely

I have a melanarus and did the same as all my fish, hybrid ttm for ich and velvet and 2 rounds of prazipro, has been working great for me.

I would say it depends if you care about ich or not. I did observational QT for many years. It worked great for velvet and such but ich can get through easily even watching a fish for months.

I would probably give it at least another week watching regardless.

Can always use other methods... hybrid TTM or hypo can treat ich.

I would stick with the full 30 day copper treatment since you've gotten this far. My melanurus and yellow wrasses handled the full protocol including prazi at the end without any problems.
