Wrasse acclimation method?

@evolved what is your acclamation method for delicate wrasse?
I match my QT to the salinity in the bag. Do a 20 minute float and release.
By the time the QT period is over, they're at full salinity (if they were shipped at something less). And then I literally transfer out of the QT and plop into the DT (acclimation box). But both tanks are close to the same ambient temp of my home.

what about if you were going from bag to Dt what would you do then?

I haven't done that in years - ever since I couldn't afford not to QT everything. :) If the salinity is more than 0.002 apart, I wouldn't do it.

then you would drip acclimate it till it is?0.002 in range?

I have done it. Float. Dump water into bucket. But heater in bucket. Drip acclimate for about 45 minute to an hour.

what if Dt salinity is lower than the bag?

@evolved I put my feminius in the tank and my Lennardi is showing serious aggression... what should I do?

No, meaning if the bag was any lower than 0.002 in salinity than the DT, I wouldn't even consider it.

That's a bit different then - going down is easy. It's increasing the salinity rapidly that can shock a fish.

Well, I would have advocated an acclimation box to better gauge this, but at this point:
If they are anything like tangs.
Mirror works well. Plus feed them.
That's one of three options.
The other two being remove one fish, or lastly wait and hope for the best...

I'll be removing the lennardi! Just don't want it killing the poor fish... only docile fish from here on out! but keeping an anampses in an acclimation box wouldnt work right?

For the first day or even the first few hours just to test compatibility would be advisable.
