Wrasse acting weird after fw dip.

So I did a FW dip on my newly purchased exquisite fairy wrasse to check for flukes. No sign of flukes. But for the last 24 hrs he has not been the same. For the 1st 6 hrs or so after the dip he just layed on the bottom of the tank breathing heavy. After about 12 more hours his breathing is normal but he still hanging out in the bottom corner of the tank. He is able to swim ok when i get in their nudge him, he may swim around for about 2 minutes then he goes back to his corner and lies there. Before the dip for the 3 days i observed him he was a very active swimmer. He was eating fine and everything. Right now he does not move for food unless i nudge him. FW dip was for 4 minutes in RO water with airstone and heated to 78f. Any clue as to what may be going on

I only nudged him to make sure he was alive and not dead. When he normally would swim about freely then all the sudden after the dip he no longer does it is what caused concern for me. To me that would signal something being wrong. I will keep an eye on him and hope he comes out of it like you stated.
