Thinking about adding a yellow coris wrasse with a cryptic wrasse and wondering if I’m putting the cryptic in harms way as I’m looking for the least aggressive wrasse but that will also eat the occasional bristle worm or anything else that may arise . Got to earn its keep can’t just be pretty lol !!! The cryptic has been in the tank for almost two years . Thanks for any input in advance .

My yellow coris is one of the most peaceful fish in my tank and there are 4 other wrasses including a 6 line which is also peaceful

You had a six line in your tank that was peaceful ? I never had one that didn’t decide he was king lol !!! . What are the other three ? And thanks for the response !

not sure about the other wrasse, but my yellow coris wrasse is a model citizen. he runs away from fish!

Should be fine. I have mine in with 4 other wrasse including an iridis (a halichoeres like the yellow). However I wouldn't add a cryptic to a tank with an established larger halichoeres.

I think it's because I have so muck rock scape and caves that he can hunt all day and not worry about the other fish swimming in there. He is a model citizen.
