Went to my LFS during lunch today to pickup some leathers for my office nano, and ended up with a score and a half! Picked up male c. brunneus and one of the new blue throat undescribed fairy wrasses for $49 each!

Had no intentions of picking up fish, but couldn't walk away from that deal. They will ultimately end up in my 80 gallon SPS reef. I'm going to keep them in my office tank to observe for a few weeks first though. My SPS reef has a bluehead fairy wrasse (c. cyanopleura) and a black leopard wrasse? Should I be concerned at all? Both are pretty tame fish. The only real bully in my tank is the multicolor angel.

They should be fine together. The leopard won't care at all. The C. cyanopleura may display and chase a little, but nothing too serious.

All the leopard ever cares about is food! He'll be wider than he is long soon here! The two wrasses get along fine now. Again the only aggressor I have is the multibar will occasionally chase the wrasses around.

Nice score! Post some pics. You should see some nice flashing going on.

I have them floating in the tank at the moment and they're already flashing pretty cool to see. The Brunneus is just too cool. Such a unique look.

Quick, and crummy iPhone shots. Both are right away and no aggression from the other two wrasses. Clowns were being a**holes but that was only when they got close to the nem.
