I have a male fairy wrasse in my 65 gallon and was wondering what other type of wrasse I can keep with him? He's my first wrasse, and very peaceful with everyone else in the tank. Would a McCosker's flasher be okay, since they're peaceful, too?

What kind of fairy is he? They vary in temperament between individual species. If you don't know, a photo should help. :)
Some, such as the Scott's fairy, will in general be peaceful with other fish but attack other wrasses.

I believe there's a clean lateral split between the orange and other color on the orangeback.

What it is, I'm not sure. You could post in the Wrasse Lover's thread (lemme grab the link for you) but I'll go do some digging.

I asked on the Let me Id your wrasse thread and I got those 2 different answers. I believe Evolved was the one who suggested orange back. Some of these are hard to tell the difference. It looks like it could be a female red headed solon, too but both guys on the wrasse thread and the LFS said it was a male. It was labeled as a purple sided at the store.

Either way, you should be fine adding a P. mccoskeri. Just make sure you use some kind of an acclimation box.
