I've had a sixline wrasse for a while now,and recently purchased a solorensis wrasse, which is a lot bigger than the sixline, however the sixline is taking shots at the solorensis.
Is this just a marking of territory?Or is the sixline out for blood?
I've heard the horror stories about sixline wrasses,I just want to hear a little more input, and whether or not the solorensis has a chance.
Thanks a lot,Pete

I would get rid of the 6 line if you can. From what I have heard they can be worse than damsels. Doubt the solorensis has a chance. He'll stress it to death. They are too relaxed for the 6 line.

You're definitely in trouble. The six line won't give up. I'd highly recommend getting one of the wrasses out of the tank. Sorry for the bad news, and good luck.

the six line wrasse is the worst to have if you are thinking of introducing any other wrasse into your tank, i have about 20 wrasse in my tank and they are doing fine (340 gal)

Mine is nothing shy of completely psycho. Relentless and evil, yet so goofy and beautiful. Strange bad fish.

I have way too much rock work and coral to try and get him out.I might try a fish trapwith a mirror, one of them should swim into it(my guess is the sixline looking for a fight)
So long,Pete
