I put nori in my tank for my lawnmower blenny and he seems not interested but he hits the glass, I am guessing algae he is eating on the glass. However, my wrasse eating the nori, is this normal?

Wrasses have a wide variety and My Harlequin tusks waits for loose pieces from my tangs and grabs the seaweed himself

It’s a misconception that carnivores eat only meat and herbivores eat only plants. Almost all carnivores will eat plants to help digestion and herbivores also sometimes need the amino acids that are hard to come by from plants.
