Wrasse ID please

my lfs got these guys in today and he is confident they are C. Claire.

The shape of the body is right

I am sure the Color they are stressed from the shipping, they got the delivery and didn’t even take them out of the shipping bags yet

Any ideas with their stressed colors? Inwill post again when they are settled in a day or so
Two different fish attached- can’t get a good pic of the larger one which I think is transitioning to male already- fins are larger

I got them both. Since he was so sure they were C. Claire, him and 2 other employees said so. But the coloring was so wrong, he claimed it was because of shipping stress, so I decided to take them. They're acclimating to the QT right now.

Research on the Rose Scales, beautiful! they'll add some bright colors to the tank

Be aware that two males of the same species are fairly likely to fight, and be ready to separate them / rehome one.

+1. Plus, the rosy scale wrasse can be pretty aggressive. But a beautiful fish.

Nice. Is it in the City? I know there are a lot of good stores out in Long Island, but I can't get to them without a lot of time and money on the LIRR.

To swap? It's Advanced Marine Aquatics, in Albertson. I've never been to the stores in the city, same problem with me, too pricey to travel there! lol

the place I got the wrasses from is Aquarium Village. They are usually hesitant on swapping fish, or even for credit.

If you already have wrasses in your tank use an acclimation box. Rubrisquamis is on the aggressive side for fairy wrasses. Beautiful fish, good luck with him.
