theres actually a couple of species that looks similar to that juvenile form
theres the Halichoeres menaurus, chrysotaenia and kallochroma
im gunna guess kallochroma though, also known as the pink snout wrasse
main reason is that the juvenile form has a yell mouth area like your picture
does your wrasse also have a bright blue streak from its mouth to under its eye?

i say juv halichoeres species i am not the best at id that species..but fatex8 id is what i would say also

doesnt seem like a very common wrasse though
i looked through every fish page i have and i havent found anyone that carries them or have carried them in the past
i dont think theyre rare, just rare in the trade
only thing i could find is info from fishbase
http://fishbase.sinica.edu.tw/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=59463

thanks fatex8. Fishbase is about all I found, too. I found one old RC thread on it but the guy never posted a pic and someone replied in that thread they hadn't seen one in the hobby before. thanks again...casey
