Hello,

I bought this at a LFS that I’ve worked with a long time. Lots of experience. This fish came in their last shipment, exceptit isn’t something they picked out. It came in with their leopard wrasses. It acts like a wrasse, complete with burrowing. It has been in quarantine for a week and I brought it home yesterday. None of us can identify it. Anybody here have an idea?

+1 - Juvenile twisti wrasse

Definitely let evolved have last word, but my guess is a A. caeruleopunctatus or Blue Spotted Tamarin Wrasse.

+1 - Juvenile twisti wrasse also called tamarin wrasse

I have 3 leopards that have been hanging together as a “school” (stick near each other, not actually schooling) for about 5 months. Glad to read the care of this one will be similar. Been a long time since I’ve bought something “unknown.” thanks again for your help.

I too go by what Hunter ( @evolved ) has to say, but I did find a picture of a juvi anampses twistii:
