I started treating a green coris wrasse that was flashing about 3 months ago.

First it went through 2 rounds of prazipro, then 4 weeks of CopperSafe. It was still flashing so I removed copper and treated for another 4 weeks with chloroquine phosphate. Then I removed all medication and observed for another 4 weeks.

Wrasse is still flashing but doesn't seem to show any visible physical signs of ICH or velvet. It only seems to flash right after I turn the light on. It seems to be scratching near its mouth / nose repeatedly then stops after 5 - 6 times. (different behavior than a coris trying to bury itself in sand) QT is barebottom with a few PVC pieces and copper level was consistent first round.

Is it safe to assume that it can come out of QT and it's scratching because of old scars or just minor irritation?

There are some praziquantel resistant flukes/worms out there. Sometimes you need to give them another round. Do water changes and observe for 14 days.

Consider a Freshwater dip to check for flukes.

At some point you may want to consider adding a black molly (3rd one in the last couple of days . . . hmm.) to the tank to test for disease. Here's the link by Humblefish: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/f...-vs-marine-fish-diseases.312166/#post-3843490

I feel like if it did have flukes, it would've started showing more extreme symptoms by now after 3 months. Or is it possible for a fish to tolerate it for that long? Also, aren't wrasses sensitive to FW dips?

Black molly is an interesting idea, I'll give that a try.

Almost forgot about this part. Parameters ok? How about electrical leakage into the tank?

I will try giving it a FW dip. Good point about stray voltage, I'll check that as well. Other parameters are fairly acceptable; 0 ammonia, 40-50 nitrate, sg 1.024
