i have a wrasse in my QT right now that has an internal parasite. He was fine and eating like a champ when I first got him and went through My QT process without any issues. Immediately when I added him to my DT he began getting bullied pretty bad by my tang and stopped eating and swimming very odd for 3 days, which is when I pulled him back into QT. He has been very lethargic since, and last night I added API general cure because I had a feeling something other than the stress was getting to him.

This morning I found white stringy poop, a clear indicator something is up. Is there anything else I can do besides General cure (metro and Prazipro) to help give him a chance?

Since he was in my DT I am also treating the fish in there via medicated food, but I haven’t noticed any issues yet.

With GC you need to dose twice. First dose then wait 5-7 days. Do a 25% water change and then do second dose. Wait 5-7 days do a 25% water change. Then observe for 7-10 days. Feeding good fiber and vitamin rich foods, with added vitamins like Selcon, etc. will help your fish. A fish "smoothie" made from several different frozen fish cubes: mysis, chopped clams, brine shrimp, cyclops, seaweed, etc. the more variety the better. Take one of each flavor and let "slump" in a tupperware in the fridge. Pour off the excess water. Add vitamins. The mix will stay good in the fridge for a few days. Beautiful fish.
Pristine water conditions, and a small powerhead aimed up at the surface to keep the O2 levels good for the fish will help.
