I bought a yellow banded possum wrasse about 2 weeks ago and have yet to see it eat anything other than pods...it looks healthy, but I was wondering if this fish can be just living off pods right now?

It depends on the size of your tank/refugium/pod population. These guys are pretty shy, most other wrasse will eat in just a few hours IME. Give him some time I bet he'll start eating.

I have had success getting a reluctant Wetmorella to eat cyclopeeze and tobiko. If he persists in not eating try hatching brine shrimp.

I seeded the tank about a week ago with a bunch of tiger pods, but I still feel it should eat some mysis...I'll try some cyclopeeze

I have has my Yellow Banded for about 1.5 years now in my 28 nano cube. Very picky eater, as it really only eats Mysis. Otherwise, it hunts for pods all day long. He has a nice full belly, so he does fine with the occasional supplemental feedings.
