I'm setting up to qt 6 wrasses

Flame
Linetus
Yellow coris
Pintail

Question one. CP or copper and and what doses?

Copper tank is 15 gallons
CP tank is 29 gallons.

Anything special about wrasses and these medications I should worry about ? Thanks in advance for the help

I wouldn't use any CP on wrasses. Lately there have been a lot of reports of wrasse death when using CP. For now we are recommending Copper for wrasses. I would use the 29 for the 6 six wrasses, however, and use chelated copper such as Coppersafe with the API test kit for it. Keep it barebottom, but provide a small dish with sand in it for the ones that bury. Raise is slow, keep it at 2.0 for 30 days, then pull it out with water changes and media that will absorb it (carbon, cupusorb, ect).

I also highly recommend running Prazi with them since wrasses often harbor worms. Actually General Cure might be better since it will address both intestinal worms and flukes.

You want to use copper on wrasses, preferably chelated (exs. Coppersafe or Copper Power).

I'll use coppersafe. But have to use the 15. I don't want to ruin another tank with copper.

Another question actually. Can I use the same tank for both CP and copper (not at the same time of course ). Or could their be a reaction between the CP and the residual copper in the tank.

as long as you sterilize it and let it dry for a few days first, then you can use the same tank for both.
