I went to my LFS yesterday and actually went in looking for a sixline wrasse, came out with a far nicer carpenters fairy wrasse. I keep a healthy aquarium with good parameters (I’m not totally sure what they are right now, but everyone is happy, algae is at the perfect low, just where I know that nitrates are even in my system [that can be a problem for me]). Right now he has a small spot in the rocks where he is hiding and has been for over a day, he poked out a little when I was feeding the corals and even seemed to eat a little but didn’t go for any of the fish pellets later. His only competition is a small clownfish so he really doesn’t have much to fear, he is 2x it’s size. I have an awesome pod population too. The only downside is that i just moved last week. When will I get to see him swimming around and is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable in the rock hole he is in?
