Pfft, maybe if you want hard-to-keep, expensive corallivores!
Both of those are beautiful, but are not good recommendations for someone just starting with butterflyfish!
I'd stick with the more common/less expensive/more hardy options that more readily eat prepared foods, like the ones previously menitoned.

It was just a thought……..I’m joking lol. I didn’t say the butterflies would be easy lol

What would you put in the 5.5g FW tanks? I've seen some neat shrimp displays at one of my LFS. I had no idea there were so many species of FW shrimp available these days.

Shrimp are high on my list of considerations! I'd like to get a few different types.
I also like some of the tiny fish such as celestial pearl danios, mosquitofish, dwarf rasboras, least rasboras, chili rasboras, blue rice killifish, maybe some guppies/Endler's. Some of these might need a 10g as noted below, since 5g might work, but may be less than ideal for the long-term.
One or two might end up as betta tanks.
I've also got plans for linked-plumbing racks of 10g tanks for smaller ecosystems including occupants that get too large for a 5.5 but stay small enough for a 10.

These are lower on my priority list right now, though, which is to get my main SW 125-125 system up and running after finishing my living room remodel; changing the 75-75 QT's over to FOWLR with butterflyfish and snowflake eels as primary choice fish; setting up my 150 for goldfish, hillstream loaches, white cloud mountain minnows, and a few other cold-water options; and changing over some of the FW 40B's to SW and finishing the 2X4 double-stack 40B systems.

My plans will already keep me busy for a while, let alone the endless dreaming! Patience and proper research are most important.

Sure, I'll add that to the bottom of the list after all my other hobbies that use disposable income.
Once I have them all paid off through the endless dreams over the next 1,000 years, I'll send the extra disposable income your way!
...seriously, I am never bored and rather have to limit my interests with reasonable budgeting even though I have significantly more income than required for basic living expenses right now.

Racks of small tanks with different aquascapes are wonderful, in my opinion! After discovering they are likely too difficult to manage as SW QT's, I have six 5.5g tanks to set up for small (likely FW) systems together on a rack.

Add 3 more and you have a nice 3x3 grid.

Ha, no, I am decidedly not a manager or business owner! ...though I am interested in ethics things, as you are probably already aware!

My tank looked like that at one point. Got a couple harlequin shrimp and they were gone in no time. Then I sold the shrimp

The last one my LFS ordered for me arrived with some bad mouth damage and couldn't bury. Hopefully this new one arrives in good shape!

You can always just hide a container of sand behind the rock work if you want a sand burying wrasse or two without doing a full sand bed. Some of them are excellent at coral pest control.

My carpets would be SO excited about this situation. I eradicated them in my reef system with harlequins but the nem system still has some around. Whenever I find them, I drop them on the carpets and they seem to appreciate it a lot.
