So over the last month my wrasses (I assume) have gone to town on my CUC, I have lost most of my snails, both shrimp and I think some of the hermits. They are exceedingly well fed without the extras (noticeably chunky) so I am not sure why now was the time they chose to go postal.

The tank already has a purple tang and britstetooth tang who peck at some of the algae. They have been leaving the diatoms and GHA alone however so it's starting to spread off the back wall.

Its a 180g mixed reef and other than the tangs I am down to a few turbos, a few hermits and a conch. What can I safely add that won't just become a wrasse feast?

Probably urchins. I love my urchin! Maybe siphonaria limpet (algae barn sells them)?

A lawnmower blenny will work.

Also I like your profile pic haha
