Wrasse Selection

I’m trying to put together a stocking list for my current build (late planning stage, I’ll start a build thread soon!) and I’m looking into wrasses for pest control. Do Macropharyngodon(leopard wrasse) species help in pest control the same way that Halichoeres species do?

Leopard wrasse needs a good pod population and would let your tank mature a bit before getting one

Halichoeres wrasses are reputed to be more varied in what they'll eat (flat worms and other pest species). The tradeoff is they sometimes develop a taste for motile invertebrates.
