I have had this melanarus in QT for about 11 days now doing TTM along with a starry blenny. The past 2 days the wrasse has gone to bed early, and gotten up late. Today I noticed his scales looked a bit rough. I thought possibly brook, but I am doubting due to not seeing any mucus, the fish is eating fine, and shows no signs of distress. Is he just roughed up a bit or something else going on? Really hard to get good pics.

Most wrasse can have intestinal worms. Does it have stringy poop?
+1 In the QT dose with API General Cure. It has both praziquantel and metro. So it treats both internal and external parasites (flukes & worms). Plus the dose of praziquantel is a bit lower than Prazipro which is easier on fish, yet gets the job done nicely.

No stringy poop. I ran general several days ago, and have metro running now. Will be doing another thank change tomorrow. Then in 2 more days I will run general cure again I think. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I can get him to pull through.

Well dead this morning. Pretty displeased. This was my first wrasse I thought things were going well. Turned ugly fast
