Wrasse tail fin ripped ?

I just got this wrasse from live aquaria AND I noticed the rear tailfin is possibly ripped . Or is this something else like possible flukes . Any help would be appreciated thanks

If you just got it in, it was most likely in a tank with many more at the facility, it's most likely it got nipped by another fish at the facility. It'll grow back. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't become infected.

My juvie melanurus would periodically get that, but there wasn't anything that would nip it's fin. Always grew back/healed though.
