Hi there,
I have my wrasse for about 3 weeks and it’s been fine until today I noticed this white blotch on its side it sort of looks like a scrape or dry patch. From some research seems like maybe uronema. But it’s in my display tank sure not sure what to do. It’s acting normal and eating, and the other 7 fish are fine.

Looks like an abrasion, not uronema. Watch for any redness to suggest bacterial infection

I just replied to your other thread. I'll report that one as a duplicate, and we'll work with this one.

I can't rule out the start of Uronema, as you've only had the fish a short while, and this species is so prone to that. However, you'll know pretty quickly - if it doesn't become larger and redder in a day or so, it isn't Uronema.

Agreed - flukes you rarely msee and oval shape suggests uronema
Assure salinity not low

To anserw your question on the other thread. It definitely didn’t have it when I introduced him to the tank. It seemed to appear a day after I changed my entire rock scape. So I guess it’s uronema or it scraped itself on a rock.
