My cleaner wrasse, (i think its a semole or something like that), was missing for a few days (which was unusual for him during feeding time) I found him hiding about 10 days ago in the rocks and sometimes under the gravel under the rocks, an a inspection shows him with a swollen belly and his mouth staying open. I suspect that the food I fed him was to cold, as it was refrigerated brine shrimp cubes, or it might have been some lose algae from cleaning the glass on the tank which i did a few days earlier. Anyway, I stopped feeding him for 3 days in a row, and I did a 20 percent water change and I double dosed the aquarium with aqua safe. After the 3 day of fasting him, I cut the food portions in half because there are other fish also in the tank to feed. I am now feeding them half portions every other day. (note it would be extremely difficult to catch and quarantine the wrasse due to all the obstacles in the tank. The wrasse did appears to have a slight improvement in the belly size but not near normal. All suggestions or ideas are appreciated.
