Hi all, want to add a pair of wrasses to my tank along with a tang . Is it better to add the two wrasses first or the tang first? Thanks.

I don't think it matters. My wrasses and tangs generally ignore each other. I've done it both ways in the past without incident. If in doubt, do the wrasses first, less aggressive, smaller.

Thanks for the replies!

I agree! I have 14 Wrasses and a purple tang and the tang ignores them! LOL!

Definitely the wrasses. Tangs can be aggressive and Wrasses will do better if given a chance to get established before it is put in.

When you say "pair of wrasses" do you mean 2 wrasses of the same species(donct do that!) Or 1 wrasse of one species and 1 wrasse of another species?
