Wrasses for barebottom tank!

I've been liking naoko wrasse Lately can they do well in barebottom tank
It will be fine without sand. Though it may limit having other fairy or flasher species.
Also does melanurus wrasse need sand thinking about getting one
A melanurus should have access to sand.

I heard s

I heard Six line is really mean so I don't want to add something too aggressive in the tank

Absolutely. As beautiful as they are I would NEVER recommend one to someone because you can have something that can potentially destroy your tank.

Solorensis should be in a tank larger than 34g. And a christmas wrasse should have access to a sandbed.

No arguments there. I had a Solorensis in my 36 gallon tank and it went nuts and bullied EVERYTHING in the tank after about a week. It chased my Diamond Watchman Goby all around the tank, buried my purple firefish in it's cave, chased my scissortail and even did a stare down and chase with my Green Mandarin fish. As beautiful as it was it was just a jerk and I had to trap and remove it. I do have to say though I have seen plenty of examples of aggression from them in other tanks that were more appropriately sized (ie nip/chase behavior) that I put them in the same category as Occ clownfish in that they are territorial/semi-aggressive and not peaceful as some claim.

Lots of fish behave differently when they're cramped on space. Solorensis really needs 90+ gallons.

No arguments on that, my 36 was definitely to small for it and it wasn't full grown.
