Wrasses in a 60 gallon cube?

Hey there. I'd like to delve into the world of wrasse. Now I know some need a 4 ft tank. Are any suitable for a 60 cube? If so, how many can I cram in there? I'm not worried about bioload as much as I'm worried about lack of territory as I usually have an aggressive export due to my love for colored stix. Also some suggestions on species to look at and combinations given the tank size limitations would be great. If they do get a little too big I do have a 100 gallon they can transition to if need be but I'd like to keep them seperate. The only experience I have with wrasses is I had a possum wrasse for a couple years and I currently have a melanurus in my 100 gallon but he is WAY to big for a 60. Any info appreciated.

OK, should have stated, planning on sand AND TOP if wrasses make it in to the tank. I like flashers and fairies, as well as possum and leapords. I like them all, LOL but realize there are space constraints here. I know at the end of the day species is a very personal thing, that said I'd love to hear what combinations you guys would try. As far as the rest of the inhabitants, maybe some blennies, anthias, cardinals, gobies, maybe a clown or 2 etc, but I want to start with wrasses and fill in the rest based on how many I can comfortably keep together. I like to have a ton of fishies. I had 12 fish in a 30 gallon at one point, albeit they were all nano.

I have:
Flame Wrasse
2x Ornate Leopard Wrasses
Yellow Tailed Tamarin Wrasse
Mystery Wrasse
Soon to be Blue Line Spot Flasher
Their in a CadLights 70G Artisan II and get along pretty well. The Mystery Wrasse is a pain sometimes but the rest get along well. I love them, very active and colorful. The Leopards can be a challenge to acclimate, that's why is important to purchase from reputable sellers. Zoacollector is a great vendor. He's gotten me top notch fish.

Fairy wrasse species in the lunatus complex, isoscoles, lunatus, johnsoni. The the rubripinnis complex, rubripinnis, joanallenae, naokoae, or Kenyan. Most flashers, minus the eightline. Any of the leopards. If you can find a Terelabrus, they would work. Anampses species will eventually outgrow a 60g. I would avoid the genus Pseudocheilinus, they can get nasty

So how many you guys think? 4, 5, 6? More? Less? Tank will be sps exclusive.

Agree.

Basically, avoid any species which exceeds 4" when fully grown.

The number the tank can support depends on which ones you choose, but in general I would be comfortable with 5-6 or so.

In the tank you currently own... I had a solaris and a lubbocki. Never had any issues with territory. ZERO chasing as well. Having more chasing between the two in the upgraded tank. Solaris was first. Won the lubbocki at an FMAS raffle.

I always wanted to do more but never pulled the trigger on any. I was advised that a third probably would've been easy to do. My biggest issue was that every now and then I would scare the solaris and he'd jump into the overflow.

Ha! Took me a while but figured it out when you posted in BC.

Tank will be wet soon I hope! Let the hunt for fish begin....
