So setting up a new 230g Tank and im leaning to being bare bottom. But I do want some wrasses I love leopards and flasher etc. But im wondering everyones thoughts / solutions for the sand burying wrasses. Ive seen guys keeping pyrex dishes with sand. Would love pictures if you do this. So thats my thoughts on it maybe keeping a pyrex dish with rocks stacked around it so it seems "natural-ish" OR id love ideas on wrasses that do not require sand

I have a sand bed so I can't comment on the pyrex dishes. I will say that both of my sand burying wrasses spray a bit of sand around every night at bedtime. You would need to design it in a way that prevented the sand from ending up on the aquarium bottom over time.
