Tomorrow I am receiving a 4 1/2" lineatus wrasse and a 3 1/2" Laboute's wrasse from Elliott at Marine Collectors. I separately quarantine everything except for wrasses I order from MC and these two fish will go directly into my 105g DT. The only fish currently in my DT that might show aggression are a 3 1/2" flame wrasse, a 3 1/2" gem tang, and a 2 1/2" kole tang (before someone calls the cops on me, I will be upgrading tanks soon
). I have an acclimation box with a divider from Octo Aquatics and my question is whether or not putting the wrasses in an acclimation box for a few days will cause more stress on the new additions than simply introducing them directly into the tank, which I will do with the lights off likely at night.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!
