Thinking about adding two more wrasses to my tank. The tank is 150 gallons with plenty of rocks/hiding and swimming space, it's been running for 3.5 years now. Currently have two wrasses in it: yellow coris wrasse - 2.5-3" and a six line - 2-2.5" Thinking about adding a checkerboard wrasse and a melanurus wrasse. Bad move/good move? Will they be ok? I have no problems moving my six line into a smaller frag tanks as well, he has a track record...

There is a high probability that the sixline will take issue withthe new additions, particularly the melanurus. However, the checkerboard will get pretty big, and when he does, can get quite aggressive and destructive too.

Thanks guys!! Didn't realize that checkerboards can get that big. I think I will go with melanurus and move my pesky sixline into a different tank. He's been on probation and I think ran out his welcome.
Another question: are there any wrasses that will do fine in a bare bottom 60 gallon frag tank? I have a few pieces of rock in that tank other than frag racks and corals. TIA!

Possum andpink streak wrasses, or small fairy wrasses, such as the rubriventralis complex or the lunatus complex.
