Certain Wrasses have the reputation of being the smartest fish in the sea. I recommend not choosing this variety-

I went with a rainbow wrasse!! Beautiful fish. Still too shy to get a picture of but he is a good 4 or so inches!! Thanks @Slocke for the rec on him!
