i have seen threads on other sites, and wanted to get everyones input on this here. which wrasses will eat the bad stuff that we might encounter in aquaria.....six line, sea grass, yellow, etc.:nerd:

six lines are also good reef workers, they can really decimate a Planaria flatworm population, but are usually hit and miss. ALTHOUGH, i have had 3, in 3 different systems, and they ALL destroyed the Planaria.

Love yellow coris....
IMO sixlines work Big Time- but usually have Bad Temperments

JT "forum Pro"- needs to chime in here as he has Quite a bit of experience with wrasses....

"I think he only has 10 or so in his tank:bigsmile:

I have a yellow coris and he is regularly hunting and pecking around the rocks. I have bristleworms big enough to eat him though so I don't think he is doing much against them (not that I care, though). Most of my wrasses are just for show but I am fairly certain that they eat a good bit of little bugs and whatnot creeping around the rocks.

Lined wrasse and false coris are great workers.

Wrasse and pseudochromis... workers!

sweet...i love the info!! lets keep it going with anyone else's input/experiences.
