I would check out the LET Lighting T5 retrofit kit. Its a true DIY kit that allows you to put both lights wherever needed (they do not need to be directly next to each other). Chewy seems to have the best price for these kits. I am about to purchase the 2x39w (36" kit).

I found a couple of the 54 watt kits that I switched the ballasts with a couple of 24w ati ballasts. I had the extra ballasts laying around. I also just bought ati reflectors. I built a wooden frame from ambrosia maple and mounted my kessil ap9x in the middle with two sets of t5 bulbs on each side. I actually think it’s too bright so I’ve just been using two bulbs on. I went with three KZ super blue and one KZ Fiji purple. Just the one Fiji purple and one super blue make a great combo in my opinion. I’m pretty happy with it so far. I was able to hang it with the kessil hanging kit.
