We are looking for the above tank. We would really like it to be Rimless and RR.

if you want that exact size..there are a few options.

option 1: get a custom tank from somewhere like glasscages.

option 2: go to a glass shop... get some glass (have them sand/bevel the edges, and perhaps polish it. then have them drill it/drilt it yourself/have a friend drill it... and put the tank together yourself (with aquarium safe silicone). a bit of work, but imo, definitely worth it. then use a large pvc pipe to make the custom overflow. (you can paint it black or something). ive seen pics of people that have done this, and it looks pretty good.

option 3: ... well if u want those exact measurements this wont work... but how about a solana tank or something?

I have heard horrible things about Glasscages

I take delivery my new rimless this week/next week from AGE. They make AWESOME tank, but you pay for it. For a custom size and a well-built tank, I recommend Tom at AGE and Derek at Miracles for glass, and James at Envision for Acrylic.

HTH and GL!

This will be a really cool size :D

Any links to contact or see their work?

AGE (Texas): http://www.acrylicandglassexhibits.com/

Miracles (Toronto, Canada): http://www.miraclesaquariums.com/

Envision Acrylics (Oregon): http://www.envisionacrylics.com/

I listed where they are for shipping purposes. Also, if you page through the Large Tank Forum on RC you'll find fantastic examples of all the manufacaturers. AGE is known for mixing different materials making the aquariums lighter and stronger... for example a starfire glass tank with SCH 80 PVC bottom and Acrylic Eurobracing. Miracles is a high quality all glass tank, and Envision is the best Acrylic manufacturer IMO/IME.

Thanks, I will check those out tonight
