WTB 72" by 24" tank (180g-215g)

Geez, I have a clean, 8-mos used, 215 Oceanic Starphire with or without oak stand (black) that I'll sell for half the original price. If you know anyone with a van driving down to ACB from Boston I'll help load it (upgrading to a larger display--it never ends).

I have a 175 bow front RR with black stand large sump, external punmp, refugium every thing is hard plumed no hoses.AWESOME SET UP

Ohhhhhh... that would be so perfect! You shouldn't tease me that way from the other side of the planet!!

Just out of curiousity, what would you be asking for the tank alone? (No stand/canopy needed.)

Truly sounds awesome, but we already have the stand/canopy built. We're looking specifically for a 72x24 footprint.

Thanks anyway though.

:-)

We were going to sell the whole thing for 1500, just to get it out of our living room. The tank and the stand are close in price (I can't remember exactly, will have to ask my wife), but I'd say 700 for the tank would be fine. You have to a little careful with Starphire. It's clearer for sure (and heavier), but it scratches more easily. By just placing a few pieces of live rock, I caused a few less than 2 mm shallow scratches that I didn't notice for months. I would keep the tank, but already have a 180 All Glass (shallower) and will use that for frags once the display is up. If it fits your bill, there might be ways to work around transport.
