Help me figure this out, because I'm skeptical. This is from reef raft. They said it was the same piece, implying the exact same conversation we had a couple weeks ago.
Keep in mind this was just introduced to the tank about five hours ago, so it's still not acclimated properly, but the polyps...dark...I don t see them in your pic. Let me know what you think.

Initially I was going to post asking if this was the beach bum or not. The polyps on mine are sky blue, very light. Yours appear very dark and while the structure appears to be similar, the colors don't match up. Do you have a clearer pic of it?


Edit: I meant to put that the polyps are sky blue, maybe even closer to a turquoise color

What's funny, is when I saw it in the store, I ignorantly asked him, "is this the jf beach bum?". He said, "well, that's what he calls it", implying it was the same piece. So of course I picked it up. On the way home I started searching and became a little skeptical that it was the same piece. It's nice and bright, but the polyps are the dead giveaway. Still an awesome showpiece for the tank, It pops big time, but not what I thought I was buying. One day.

Def doesn't have a green rim. T h is thing is a solid red all around. Not even a hint of green with new growth
