WTB Blue Wave 7 Ballast

I have New blue wave 1 ballast for 250 watt for $60 and the 400 watt for $65 if you are interested.

I can get the 7 if you want it

are you sure that you want to stay with the magnetic ballast I run the Lumatek's and there really nice and you can run Radiums as well

For an equivalent the Blue Wave 7 Ballast is the Dule Galaxy Electronic ballast and you will be able to run all the different kinda bulbs including the HQI bulbs

there is a lot of shops having closeout sells on these ballasts

They are hard to find new because BlueWave no longer make them, "Hellolights" has the M80 cores for about $100 a pop. Thats what I did, bought the cores and put my own together, it's about your best option. The thing is your limited on bulb selection for single ended bulbs, with that said I feel that the magnetic M80 HQI ballast and the Radium 20k is still the best 250 watt combo out for Par and color. I have seen the Galaxy Electronic ballast and Radium combo, it drives the Radium more of a blue in color then the M80. I just bought a Lumatek ballast that just came out thats suppose to overdrive a bulb, as soon as I get my Radium in I'll post results.
