Looking for 1 or 2 borbonius anthias a.k.a. blotchy/blotch anthias. Anyone have any or know where I can get'em? Thanks!

Gotcha, I was thinking of removing mine and I also know of a friend who is removing two of hers.

Good luck.

Hey Mark, just curious as to why?

Austin, due to this being someone elses thread who is looking to buy, I would not want to discuss that in his thread :) I hope you understand. Hit me up in my tank thread or PM and I will let you know ;)

Unless a someone who already has one of these, it will be pretty hard to find.
These are more of a winter/spring seasonally caught fish if I am not mistaken.

I love mine, definitely a cool looking fish. Not a whole lot in the personality department though.

Good luck...

Yeah...I last saw them going for about $50/each a few months ago and earlier this year...I don't know who's selling them for the outrageous price.

its probably because they come and go. they flooded the stores for a while but i haven't seen one in the stores since at least midsummer.

anyways, i think a friend of mine has one he's trying to get rid of, i'll send him your way.

i though these fishes price have dropped big time
They have...

When I first saw them for sale there were two going for $900 each (I've seen them for more than that too). This was about three years ago.

When Divers Den sells them (lately), they're around $125, and I've seen them as low as $65 from other placesl. I'd gladly pull one from DD based on the quality of the specific specimen and 14 day gaurantee though.

RHS hasn't changed their price on them in a long time.

Yeah...knowing that I can get one for anywhere between $50-$65/each, I'm not going to pay the outrageous price of $900 for one. I'd rather upgrade my equipment for that price.
