Kev as soon as mine puts out a new eye I'll cut it. It has grown out pretty good but for reason it dont want to put out any eyes. 1 new eye in a yr.

You could always try it out on another chalice first if you want to. In both tries, more eyes shortly appeared.

+1 The eye only really helps keep the flesh down if it recedes. If you cut and let it heal for a month in the same tank there usually isn't a problem.

Mine is sqeezin out a new eye too. I thought it would never happen, I tryed to warn people that they were slow growers.
